Weird Patterns: Dr. Gregory House and I
There are quite a few similarities between Dr. House and me, which draws me to this character!
- We both play with the Sony PSP.
- We are both addicted to challenges which we don't always win.
- We are quite indifferent about co-workers.
- We both love satire and irony as a means of communication.
- We both listen to the iPod.
- We are both detectives of sorts.
- We get to the truth by lying.
- We both have worked for a long time in the same institution!
- We are both mavericks and bend the rules as far as possible.
- We both handle pressure well and although we are rocks on the outside, we do care from the inside.
You do know that Dr. House’s character (and the whole show) has been loosely based on Sherlock Holmes, right?

Apparently the creator was a big fan of Holmes and wanted to make a medical drama (if holmes were a doc types). And no wonder I find him (and the series) fascinating.. and u can thank me for introducing u to it
yes! as a matter of fact, I did realize the Holmes connection, maybe not to the level of Moriarty…
