La Laaa
THE TARUN TALKS
Is my Fuel Tank Half Empty or Half Full? Three people in the house have 3 different opinions.
My mom has a pragmatic view and leaves it to me. She often says, he knows when he is hungry. I guess she will wait for the fuel indicator in a car to light up near the E mark and then fill it up promptly. Poor thing she is so tired after having me and tending to me that she spends only the required level of effort for me and for her.
My grandma has a fuel tank half empty approach. She always feels sorry for me and says that I am too young to decide when I am hungry. She claims to have the experience. So, whenever I cry, she assumes it is for hunger and asks my mother to fill me up. She even insists that my mom needs to add formula supplements. She claims to have the expertise of looking at my tummy to tell the level.
My dad has the left extreme view. He not only thinks I can decide when I am hungry but also claims to know my language on when I am totally empty, almost empty, marginally empty to the fine levels of gradation. He is the kind of guy that would ignore the Fuel indicator "E" indication or the blinking lights and keep driving until the car communicates to him in some indiscernible frequency and by the trip meter estimate.
All in all, at variable times, each of them has been right. My dad has come close to decoding my indications, but no one likes to take that type of risk with a new born, so mostly my mom's view point takes precedence after my grandma's approach resulting in digestive trouble one night
